The Bachelor of
Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) degree program at Savannah State University
offers learning in a broad range of subject areas across the colleges and
majors in the university. Once general education and core courses are complete,
students in the BIS major choose a General Concentration track, a Complementary
Field and a General Elective area.

PSLOs are newly developed:
1. The student will be able to synthesize ideas across a diverse range of subject areas (Integrative Learning)
2. The student will be able to develop Strategies for which to seek out theoretical models of interdisciplinary research (Information Literacy and Critical Thinking)
